Cancellation Policy for workshops or classes

Whilst I realise that sometimes things can change and a lesson or workshop might need to be cancelled for legitimate reasons. Each workshop takes considerable preparation and can incur significant costs for materials and I need to ensure that the cancellation doesn’t affect me financially.

In the event of a request for a cancellation from a group/organisation.

A group booking will have paid a 50% deposit to secure the booking.

  1. A minimum of three weeks notification will be required.

    An alternative date/time will be try to be agreed. If this is not possible see below.

  2. The deposit will not be refunded.

  3. If the full fee has already been paid 50% of the full fee will be reimbursed.

  4. Cancellation under three weeks notification will not be refunded.

In the event of a request for a cancellation from an individual

  1. A minimum of three weeks notification will be required.

  2. You and I will aim to offer the slot to another person. If this is successful you will be refunded 90% of your fee. If your place has not been filled see point 3.

  3. If your place is unfilled you will be reimbursed 50% of your fee.

  4. If you book and pay but do not attend the course, no refund will be given.

  5. If you cancel with less than three weeks notification you will not be reimbursed. You will be offered a future workshop with a 10% discount

  6. In the unlikely event I have to cancel the course you will receive a full refund

Policy for ordering bespoke items

You want something but cant find it in the shop - why not get it made specially to order - made to your unique specifications. I love making these one off pieces. To ensure the process works smoothly I have the following policy.

  1. We will discuss your requirements. I will check measurements, materials and any other details with you to make sure you are happy with the proposal. If required I will send you a design. 

  2. Once you are happy with the proposal a 50% non returnable deposit will be collected to secure the order. 

  3. If you prefer you can pay the full 100% of the cost up front. 

  4. When the order is complete I will contact you to arrange collection/delivery. At this point the final 50% of the payment will be due.
