Round basket making workshop 27th January 2024

Learn how to make a round basket - it could be a bread basket, a berry basket with a bent wood handle or a small round shopping basket.
You'll be taught traditional basket making techniques and use a variety of willow to make this lovely style of basket.
All materials and tools will be provided.
Suitable for beginners, or those with some basketmaking experience
Date: Saturday 27th January 2023
Time: 10.00 - 17.00 (please arrive by 09.45)
Place: Teddington Constitutional Club, Stanley Road, Teddington
Please bring a packed lunch as we'll take a short lunch break to ensure we finish our baskets in time.
Free tea, coffee, home made cake provided.
Full dissabled access.
Please bear in mind basket making is tough on the hands, so if you have a loss of strength in your hands you might find this class difficult.
